Hao having a break from the Pro Dota scene

Newbee’s Chen “Hao” Zhihao has declared that he intends to take a six month rest with the possibility to retire eternally, via a post on his private Weibo page.

The carry player has had an awarded and drawn-out Dota 2 profession, beginning with TyLoo back in 2011, with whom he attended The International for the very first time. He won The International 4 with Newbee, and has attended every single TI since, conquering Vici Gaming.

Hao’s career has found him playing for several major Chinese Dota 2 squads.

Ultimately, he returned to Newbee in September 2015.

Newbee took third place in The Manila Major.

It remains to be seen whether Hao will really stay away from playing Dota 2, but his post asks for ongoing support from his devotees, indicating some existence in the scene whether it may be throwing, streaming or something different completely.
